For the first time in 50 years, Pecos Barstow Toyah planned a bond for new school facilities. MNK was commissioned to conceptually design new schools, school renovations, administrative areas, all ensuring campus wide safety and security. The designs are reflective of the language, climate and context of West Texas, and respond to the community’s highest priorities. Along with the conceptual designs, MNK worked with the community on a weekly basis, organized town hall meetings, bond advisory committee meetings, design charrettes, site walk-throughs, and worked hand-in-hand with the facilities team to develop the bond scope and budget for the 2019 fall election.
