Ysleta High School, originally constructed in 1927, is the second oldest high school in El Paso. MNK was commissioned to provide a building assessment, architectural and engineering services for the building envelope and improvements to include replacement of roof, historic exterior windows and HVAC replacement. Since Ysleta High School is considered an historic landmark, several meetings were held with the City of El Paso Historic Landmark Commission in order to ensure that the school preserved its original design intentions. Sound annotations from classroom to classroom as added to the design.
